Sprinker Issues
The Vineyards is experiencing several issues with the sprinkler system.  Both the Board and Davey are aware of them and are actively identifying and addressing the problems.  Davey is manually setting the sprinklers to water troubled areas.

Broken Tables at the Pool
We have lost two tables in the past week due to umbrellas that were left open.  The high winds that we experience here cause umbrellas and tables to tip and break.  Replacement tables are $200 each!  Please close umbrellas after use.  Thank you.

Pool Use
If you use the pool, please be considerate and pick up after yourself by throwing away your trash and moving the furniture back to its original location.   Our cleaning company only provides service on Tuesdays and Saturdays.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Our website is back! After a long absence, the Vineyards website has returned with many new features. Please click the Register link at the top left of the home page. This will provide you access to the Message Board and Classified Ads sections of the website. Your information will be maintained on this website and will only be used by the Vineyards Homeowners Association for critical neighborhood communications.

Annual Meeting
The annual meeting was held on Thursday, March 27th. The neighborhood participation was the best since it's inception. We received almost 70 proxy and in-person votes! Now for the results of the vote. The members of the 2008-09 Board of Directors are as follows:

President - Kevin Kwan
Vice President - Felicia Anderson
Member-at-Large - Josh Butts
Treasurer - Amanda Wynne
Secretary - Paul Phillips

The paint palette measure passed with a neighborhood majority vote (50% +1). The solar light measure did not pass. However, the new Board will continue to pursue a lighting solution for the front entry signs. Finally, a special thank you to all of outgoing Board members, Pam Senk, Katherine Griffin (six boards in a row), Kristin Butts, and Marie Liberatore. Their work was invaluable to our community and much appreciated by all.

Pick Up After Your Dog
Many Vineyards residents are proud owners of dogs. However, many Vineyards residents have not been picking up after their dogs recently. Residents have observed an increase in the number of dog droppings throughout the neighborhood, especially by the lake. Picking up after your dog is not an option, it is mandatory.

Recycling
Please help contribute to the Hillsborough County recycling program. Pick-up is typically Monday morning. It is very easy to recycle as the county takes most paper products, as well as glass, aluminum, metal (i.e., canned soup), etc.

Mailbox Maintenance
Owners are responsible for repairing and replacing mailboxes. Please contact the following company for replacement or repair: Creative Mailbox & Sign Designs, 300 Mears Blvd., Oldsmar, FL, (813) 818-7100. Complete double replacement including posts, delivery and installation costs $476.15. Mailboxes costs $34.55 per mailbox, with a $35.00 delivery and installation fee.

Speed Limit
Please be safe and obey the traffic rules of our village. This includes the 15 MPH speed limit and driving the correct way on one way streets.
